 A man leaves home very quick. He runs around, and eventually returns home to find 2 men in masks waiting for him. What's going on here?

he ran around to get away from the police and when he got back home there were two police men with mask helmet on waiting for him? (ok that sound stupid, lol)
nope, weren't the police waiting for him, he didn't do anything wrong

Was he doing some type of scavenger hunt and when he returned home the two guys were after the items he had found?
