Two men are searching about an abandoned mansion, they both enter the same room, from opposite ends. One of the men asks "Wheres the lights?". Someone answers, but it was not the other man. Who was it?

the other mans echo maybe but it cant be if there is two men who entered that house and entered the same room .......i think it was the other mans echo not his own

Congratulations Grammybear, you were correct. However, no one seemed to catch the "hidden" info. While both men were in the same room, The were on opposite ends of a sound proof wall, so what the man heard, was his own voice echoing around the room.
