OK so they were celebrating their anniversary, when she spilled punch all over his designer shirt, so he shot her, and when he dragged her inside, he found out he one the lottery, and was so excited he tripped over his feet and broke his neck.

And the winner is Zach! Yep, it was his birthday and didn't know she had planned a surprise birthday party for him, so when he dragged her inside and everyone saw, he killed himself.
