QOD 14
Ok, this one comes from Pier!

Private Investigator Pier followed a man. He waited until the man parked his car and went off to do an errand. Pier then let air out of one of the tires on the man's car. Waiting at a distance he watched as the man returned, bent down and examined the flat tire, then walked off. Pier then went home pleased with his days work.

What had Pier been hired to do?
