QOD 12
A man is lying down in a hotel, just staring at the ceiling unable to sleep. He finally dials the telephone, waits until til it's answered, doesn't say anything and hangs up the phone. He lays back down and drifts off to sleep. What happened here?

he called a hypnoic line for insomniacs wher they dont speak, mearly listen 2 the soothing sound on the recording that sends the restless 2 sleep?
nope, that isn't the number he dialed, but calling it did solve his problem

he called his home number coz he woz doing an insurance scam, when his burglar friend answerd, he knew all woz goin 2 plan am him bein in the hotel gave him the perfect aliby lol
nope, the man was doing nothing illegal, but an interesting guess

he called his home, 2 check his wife woz home, she answerd an all woz well so he cud sleep?
nope, he called somewhere in the hotel

he didnt have a watch so he called the speaking clock,found out the time and it corresponded with his usual bed time so he went to slepp
nope, he was really tired, but something was keeping him awake

the person in the next room was singing/playing an instrument,and when the guy called the person stopped singing/playing which allowed the guy to sleep
very close, but the guy wasn't singing or playing an instrument
