OK those in chat are so bugging moi so I am going to give some more hints

This is actually a true story
I am a famous inventor and engineer aka Thomas Edison and my friends were performing a useful job for moi
It has to do with my water supply

every time someone opened the gate it pumped water into ur house for ur water supply

The gate is connected to the water pump, everytime someone opens the gate, it pumps water into your tank.

this gate was stiff because she tried to keep the dogs out and it stayed locked for so long it would"nt open thats y it was stiff

OK Sohi was first and correct Thomas Edison did indeed have the gate rigged so everytime someone opened it it poured 10 gallons of water into his tank
