Kay's QOD2
The answer to yesterday’s QOD was quickly found, so today you are getting four different riddles. The winner will be the first one to solve all four of them or – if nobody gives four correct answers – the one with the most correct answers at the end of the "day" (being 24 hours as from the moment this QOD is posted).

  • I took out all the plants in my garden and decided to plant a new type that doubles its size on the surface every day. After 28 days, the whole garden is covered with the new plant. How many days does it take to cover half of the garden?
  • A group of six men went on a hunting and camping trip. It was a given fact that in the area they were in, a man and a half shoots a deer and a half in one day and a half. How many deer will these men have shot after 7 days of hunting?
  • Lisa is 28 years old. She is twice as old as Angelica was when Lisa was as old as Angelica is now. How old is Angelica?
  • A man spends one fifth of the money he carries in his wallet. Afterwards he spends another fifth of what was left. He has spent a total amount of $ 36. How much money did he have before he spent any of it?
