THE RACE TO THE CHASE!
It is close to the time when the final, 10, "whoops I mean final 12" will be ready for the final series of races to see who is the Nascar champ for the year.
Nascar keeps changing the rules on us. More in the Chase, different cars, "COT", and apparently soon, SPEC ENGINES . So Who do you think will be in the final chase to the championship? Whats your opinion on the SPEC'D COT, BETTER OR WORSE? And what about the supposedly planned spec engines? They already make em all use the same tires, close to the same air pressure, and other things to keep them close to each other.

Robby, I really don't think we will see too much change in the top 12. About the only change is who will wind up 12th. Other wise I this the Chase is pretty much set.
I am actuallt a fan of the COT. They seems to hold up well, and the damage they have is accidents is less notable in most cases. They fact that they have a uniform body across the "manufacturers" actually evens the playing field significantly and puts the driver back in control of the outcome of the races. The motors have been mostly spec for years anyway, so that shouldnt make a dramatic impact in the teams. |

I agree with Jeff. I like the COT (car of tomorrow). But as far as the race. It will be interesting to see the result.
