The Truth
As we see the blood dripping from his mouth, more coming out every second that passes, he pleads "dont drop me and ill tell you what you need to know." My master looks down suspiciously and looks at me nodding with his wicked smile spreading slowly across his face, revealing his jagged teeth. Knowing what he was acknowledging i look for anything that can be used as a rope, just as i was about to give up my search i found a vine. My master was busy pulling a boulder to the edge of the cliff with the purple man in his hand being dragged behind him. After he got the boulder to the edge, i gave him the vine, grabbing the purple man as i did. I tied one end of the vine to his foot and my master was tying the other end to the boulder. I dangled him over the edge and dropped him a few feet to test the strength of the vine, seeing it was pretty sturdy i dropped him the other seven feet. He looked up at us ten feet away and started spilling out what was supossed to remain a secret.
"it was the council who sent me, thats all i know, why they sent me i dont know." Knowing that was a lie my master put his extended talon to the surface of the vine. "ok ok, they sent me to take you guys out, you've seen too much, and they know your after the blood rock." We wondered how they knew that, we plotted everything perfectly. Our time of travel was at night, our breaks at day, we always scanned the hills and trees for spies. My master stuck his talon back to the vine,"tell us how they knew!" The purple man just smoothly replied "when we first battled, they asked why we did, so i told them that you were after the blood rock." Seeing how we were betrayed after sparing his pathetic life, he cut the vine and pushed the boulder off of the cliff after him. We turned around and continued onto our destination high atop the mountain, knowing that if we let him get in our way, then everyone must know. We are gonna have to keep out an eye for more spies, and everyone we come across must die...no matter what the cost is or who it is. Realizing that there was no turning back, we were finally ready for the Blood Rock and whatever battle it may bring with it. Life or death is not an option in this battle. We are going to win, and thats that. Realizing that, we fled off into the night. Getting closer and closer to the mountain but feeling further and further away from our goal. Life or death, no just life, this life and whatever may come with it. I just know with the purple man coming at us, that we will have bigger, stronger enimes if that was their "weak" idea. Just as we thought it was over, we came to a forest with glowing blood covering the trees, scratch marks everywhere, and helpless animals dying, we knew what was next. Just as we were about to turn back we saw glowing eyes and a toung hanging down to the ground..... to be continued
