My Mom
Just felt like writing a little about my mom today.
I remember growing up in a cold house, there were 4 of us kids and money of course was hard to come by. They always did their best. And we had this butane heaters that we used only when we got up and got ready for school. My dad would have to get up early for work so my mom would always come in and lite the heater so it would be warm while we were getting dressed for school. But we just slept with an electric blanket during the winter. Any way it was all the little things my mom did for us. Always taking the time and caring for each of us undividually. When i was between 2-5 years old I was very sick and I know that she did her best to take care of me. My mom was the most amazing woman. I have learned alot of things from her. She was my best friend throughout my older years that she was still with me. She always did the funny little things on holidays because she knew I had no one to do them for me. She kept my babydoll and my monkey that I had as a small child and I treasure them to this day. She never knew a stranger and always put a smile on everyones face upon meeting her. To this day it's hard for me to go through things in my life without her standing right beside me but I know she is looking down on me from heaven and she is watching over me and my family. She was a one of a kind lady and will never be forgotten. I love you mom and I miss you. The hugs and I love you's when we parted to all the little silly jokes you used to tell............Know my thoughts are always with you as each day passes............... |
