A Long Overdue Story
As she sits and waits, she wonders what has happend. She thinks of all the times she has come to this point and backed away again. Something has sent her here but she isn't sure what it is. Standing alone on this mountians edge she wonders what force has brought her here yet again. She looks down upon the jagged rocks below not knowing what is happening to her. She thinks back over everything in her life and tries to put all the missing peices together. Thinking that if she could just understand all these things it might be why she is here on this mountian. But all these missing peices are just not here. She steps to the edge closer wondering if she could just take that step that she might know why she has come here yet again. When she looks up towards the sky she sees a vision shown to her. A mans face comes through the clouds not clear. This face is kind of familiar to her but also unknown to her. She takes a step back as to see better as the face forms to her. She knows this is her destiny as a feeling of warmth comes over her. She now knows why she has been brought here once more. She has finally been shown the way to what is in store for her. All she has to do is reach out and he will find her. But to reach out means hurt. It means she will have to open herself once more to pain and she isn't sure that she is capable of doing this yet again. All of the things that has happend to her in her life has shown through this day she stands here. She remembers back to all of the darkness in her life and beings to feel that this darkness is so strong that the light might not ever shine through again. She steps to the edge once more wondering if she could just put all this darkness away. A voice whispers to her as she turns to see who is there. He is standing in the shadows and whispers come to me I am here to guide you. He steps from beyond the shadows to show in his eyes he is here for her. He reaches out to her, takes her hand, and pulls her from the edge. He places his hands on each side of her face, and tells her to close her eyes and feel all the things he has been sent to show her. She closes her eyes as time passes by. It seems like hours they stand there. She beings to feel a warmth inside her flooding her soul. She opens her eyes and find she is alone. He has come to her and touched her soul. She knows that he is with her no matter what life brings her.
