the bite, part 3

The patrolman flagged down by the pedestrian walked into the alley and saw the grizzly find of the dismembered victim and called in dispatch to request that homicide and forensics be called in to the alleyway in the village of Springville on Waverly Drive next to the railroad tracks, The patrolman , new to the force , vomited at the scene he has saw, never has he saw something this heinous in his three years on the force. Springville doesn't see the violence like what is seen in the city of Buffalo, the closest city just 35 miles north of Springville, sees its share of violence though the homicide rate has calmed down from past years and averages out to 60 per year. The first to respond to the scene was a detective who was on the force for 35 years, not much happens here in the village but you do have you usual petty crimes but nothing to the extent of this, this detective ,named Charlie Graves is a tall and physical fit except for the aging gray hair and a cigar in his mouth, he came in and asked the patrolman to secure the area and make sure no one enters the scene and tampers with the crime scene. Forensics was dispatch from the City of Buffalo, cause Springville doesn't have the manpower for such a heinous crime like this. So the Detective keyed out vital information and watched were he walked so not to taint the crime scene ,but took vital pictures and put markers to display key area's of the crime scene. The blood against the wall, the splatter of blood all over the place, the perpetrator must have had great physical strength to throw the victim that far, the victim , as estimated by the detective was no small person , the victims weight was about 200 plus pounds, but thinking back , someone on a high dose of drugs could have done this in a fit of rage , but the limbs being torn from he body was a bit troublesome. Detective Graves sat there and waited for about twenty five minutes when a van approached with a City of Buffalo seal on the side and Forensics printed on the side. The forensics team lead by lead detective Robert Rosin and assisted by detective Thomas Delucia cordoned off the scene and as detective Graves approached told them where he walked and what he did as to not taint the scene of vital evidence and to make sure that his observances of the scene didn't interfere with any evidence left behind from the perpetrator. As they did there scene investigation, they noticed saliva like areas of vomit, but were unsure of what it was , they photograph, tagged it and bagged it and placed it in the holding coolers for further evaluation at there lab in Buffalo. This scene was even grizzly for the 2 seasoned forensic experts who saw many crime scenes in the combined 35 years of forensic investigation. They photograph, bagged and tagged everything thoroughly, the body parts and the torso were placed in a body bag and put into the van for further analysis at there lab, with the crime scene secured and evidence retrieved from the crime scene, they packed up the van and headed back to Buffalo to further evaluate the findings at the crime scene. They thanked detective Graves for his assistance and told him they would contact him upon any findings from the crime scene from there lab as soon as possible. Then as he saw them get into there van and drive away he walked to his vehicle and called dispatch to say that the scene is secured and to have a patrolman guard the scene until further notice. With that , detective Graves drove back to the station and wrote up the report for crime scene and waiteb for the call from detective Rosin and Delucia.
