A long an desolate road to a dump known as the West Valley Demonstration Project, this was no ordinary dump, the long fence and military guards which were posted at all the entrances and the guards dogs which secured this secluded part of American in upstate western New York. In this dump was vial waste of nuclear materials that were supposedly properly disposed of and carefully dis guarded. Many people in this part of the country saw this as one of many barren waste lands in the future where disposal of nuclear waste would shorten the lives of the many people surrounding the area and the depletion of capital improvements on and around the site area. The township saw at first the tax rolls decline as people moved away from this area to prevent themselves and there loved ones from further harm from this site which was listed as a safe environment to raise a family. Then the protesters came here to downplay this as a government cover up of nuclear arsenals left over from the cold war as stockpiles of old weapons removed from silo sites. The other protesters, Greenpeace, saw this as travesty of justice , to let nuclear waste be this close to neighborhoods, and people, if the inevitable happens who are they to say the cleanup is going to be quite expensive , and the cost to live stock and people in the community will be extensive. This was what happen when the project open many years ago.
The West Valley Demonstration project has been here now for over twenty years and they still continue to dump at the site and continue to call it the safest and most successful site in existence.What is not known is that inside this barren site is another company called West Valley Genetics Laboratories, which have personnel with high security clearances and top military brass checking in on a daily basis. The head of this project, Colonel Thomas D. Rickard, a tactical colonel of the 7th calvary, is a stern man with disciplined principles and a wealth of admiration from the top brass who picked him for this project because of his way of getting the job done. The top scientist on this project , Doctor Scott Tracks and Doctor Jenn Hendley are tops in there fields of genetic research and nuclear science. They have been doing research on lab animals and insects to determine the life cycle of radioactive organisms and determining how much of a dose they can withstand before coming ill and dying of radiation poisoning. There other project , the Sentry soldier project is a weapon being made for the military to make the perfect soldier with no remorse or feeling but a will to kill in relentless fashion. This project has been having nothing but failure through cycles 1- 25, cycle 26 they found a genetic route between insects and humans that makes them transcend into the perfect killer. But the ramifications of using a human subject in such a secret covert project , and if it came out in congress would send shock waves through the world as to genetic altering of humans into carnivorous killers is not only inhuman but goes against all the laws of nature. There work first use on lab mice, evolve in to monkeys which were the closest in anatomy to human form. The first monkeys died from the deadly high dose of radioactivity in the radose 67. The others would became so infested with rage they would kill themselves from there adrenaline rushing through there body and being restrained would die of massive heart trauma. Then came the monkey Elysees, a spider monkey named Elysees Number 13, the thirteenth generation of genetically altered insect/monkeys that evolved, this one was put into a secured interior site, Elysees was a perfect killing machine, the insect, the deer fly, evolved into this perfect cannibalistic species of insect, the evolution was 18 generations to create but it was a perfect specimen to make this monkey a perfect killing machine. In time, the top brass would be called in to see the creation of the perfect killing machine, now just a monkey , but in the future a army of killers with no remorse but to kill.
Then as all things in the lab were going well a security breach as a group of 18 generations deer flies were accidentally ejected into the outside world. These flies alone can cause a widespread panic in the world if they amass together and begin to kill. Colonel Rickard, in his office immediately rushes out of his office and into the lab where Doctor Hendley and Doctor Tracks where working and told the Colonel a aide accidentally hit the ejection to free air button and ejected them out into the atmosphere outside the complex, there outside Colonel, Colonel Rickard asks how dangerous are these flies , there just flies right. Doctor Hendley erupts and says theses flies if they collaborate together have a life span of twenty years and a insatiable appetite to kill, they start by biting there prey then as they continue to feed they get into a frenzy and if there all together this group can kill a child in 2 hours. The other outlook is we dont no what will happen if they bite someone or what will happen to the person who got bit. Thats just great, how the hell did these things breach right out into the atmosphere. Isn't the safeguards in place to make sure that doesn't happen. The ducts were being refurbished in a area where they shouldn't of been touch and thats where the breach happened Colonel, a Major Dick Hadley replied to the Colonel. Get me General Douglas on the secured phone a.s.a.p., with that the Major hands the Colonel the phone and The general answered the phone and says Colonel this better be damned important, General Douglas we have class three biohazard emergency here and I'm going to need three divisions of men here in full biohazard contamination suits here to be briefed immediately on the dilemma at hand. The general asks what is the Dilemma and the Colonel tells him these flies are able to kill people and poison them if there bitten. We don't no the extremity of the situation but right now its a class three biohazard emergency. With that said the General gives him his request and more aide if needed, and that all questions regarding this matter come straight to him. With that said the Colonel says you'll have my complete instructions and context available sir , and then a click and the colonel exclaims to himself, what have we unleashed out there.
