Start mentally counting and tensing up muscles, then when I get to 10 (15, or 20, depends on how upset I am) relaxing them. Helps to calm me down enough to think straighter.
If I just am about to lose it, I'll calmly go in my bedroom, lock the door so I'm not witnessed, and beat the total crap outa my matress with my fists till I'm worn out. Note: haven't had to do this one in 10-15 years.l

According to the levels of frustration. If I am frustrated at a person and they wont let me alone.....I tend to blow up on them.....if it is at myself or someone that I dont want them to know they frustrated me or hurt me, I tend to do self desctructing habits (smoking, drinking). But I found a new really good vice and that is exercising.
But to each their own |

I either talk to myself for consolation like a second person or when I cant take it anymore, I shut myself in my room and cry! Then I completely forget about the whole situation and I'm back to normal
