PLEASE READ
I am not one for expressing emotion so this may sound a bit cold and not very personal but it hit me really hard, so please for the sake of those you see every day but don't really talk to, and the ones you care for read this.
There was a kid I saw every day. I never really talked to him, barly paid him any heed at all. Sometimes I smiled at his antics and pranks when he ran through the halls. He could make any soul laugh given time and always had a smile on his face. On the weekend of December 2, 2006 there was a dance at the school he was going to. He got up the courage and asked out a girl who i had talked to once or twice in passing. They went and had a good time, there are photos of them together on the dance floor. Those were the last pictures of him alive. Sunday December 3 he was driving with his little brother when he swerved. He over corrected himself and ran into a tree. They think he died instintally with no pain. His little brother just had a few scrathes. He was 16 years old and had just gotten his drivers licence a month earilier. I heard this on monday morning at work, I had to sit down, twice that day i nearly burst out balling (this was a big deal because as I mentioned earlier I don't ussually display emotion.) It has effected me deeply, I can hardly go a day without thinking on it. I didn't really know him. In his school the class has changed visibly. Everyone spends more time together, insults are less, you never know who will be next. The message I want to get out is this. He was sober and he died in a car crash. Pay attention to the road at all times, don't ever drink and drive. I don't know you. I don't care about what you do in your own time, but you should. Think about what your friends would feal when they heard that you had died. Imagen the people that you see every day morning you, it won't feel good if you are honest with yourself. Please, for their sakes, be careful. |

Excellent Advice for those of us of any age! Not just the young new drivers.

that's a good advice really, but it happened to me too!
I had a car accident but I wasn't drinking, the professor said i had a THROMBOSIS - it's like half of your body gets paralized for some time but i don't remember anything... Then after my recovery in hospital - (that was almost 2 months) All of my "friends" stopped talking to me and i couldn't keep my job, i crashed the car But i'm still paying the bank for the loan! Sometimes i just wish i had died in that accident coz now i'm on my own-no friends-no work-no nothing still taking these pills(next month i'll go to see what the professor will tell me) (whether to keep taking them or not) and...uh! Man! before all of this i was "weak" but now i woke up, i'm a new me I'm a fighter, I'm a rebel! and i won't rest till I see my "so-called friends" taking what they deserve...then again Justin Timberlake has a song called -"what goes around...comes around" on his latest cd- "futuresex/lovesounds" And till I watch "them" getting hurt I won't rest, coz damn it hit me so hard To mention that some of them are my cousins! Though I'm not considering them as cousins anymore, not after all they've done

Hey ryan, sorry to hear that you went through that, and maybe the loss of those so called friends is not a lose, rather a gain, but that need for revenge could be destructive. I don't know what I would do if anything like being paralized happened to me, and I can't imagen how I would react if my friends abandoned me then, I'd probably be ticked, to put it lightly. Still you should probably learn to forgive and forget, those guys are not worth wasting any more of your time or thoughts on.

Ryan!! I will only say, that Vengence, or retaliation for hurts, real and in our minds is not a good idea.
Get off the meds if you do not need them. Get your mind straight, (it might take some help from someone outside your former circle to get it straight. I hope you come around and get these thoughts outa your mind.
