I'm trying to learn about my ancesters but it's not going well. I did find out that there is a town in Montana called Dodson. and that the lead singer in the band Saving Jane her last name is Dodson but other then that it's going teribly
If you have any ideas please let me know.

OK Brad you have to put in alot of time by first of all get any birth/death marriage certificates from family and work back
alot can be found on the net
My Tesa comes from a Dodson family line and she says hers were from England and in the 1800's her family were five brothers and they left England to start a new lives...2 came to New Zealand 2 to Canada and 1 to Australia
She has the names and paper work for 7 generations for 1 of the brothers that came here but her NZ grandmother did it all... we have a Dodson Valley here

You should try the web site genes reunited. I got in contact with some relatives i didnt know i had, so it worked for me. And you could probably find out information that way! Not sure if its in every country though.
