was I wrong in saying that

When I was younger some things happend to me which were not my fault.I told my mom and she did not belive me.After I started a family of my own she suddlenly said she belived me.I am suffering from depression and and have bad dreams and fear the worst things. My mom and I were talking again but things got worse, she had told me she was not interacting with the person who had done the things to me,well I found out that she had only said that to get on my good side again which made me feel like she did not belive me all over again.I told herI did not want to talk to her ever again cuz things get worse when we talk ,Was I wrong in saying that?

No I don't htink you were.
If she did all those things...AND didn't belive you...
AND lied to you that she did
In my opinion she doesn't deserve to be trusted...
and dosn't deserve to be a mother to a beautifuk person like
YOU

If and until you and she can have an honest relationship, my opinion is to stay away from her. Make any contact you have polite but don't buy into the lies; past, present or future. I know how hard it is not to trust/get along with your mom or dad, but some parents don't have kids best interests at heart. Parents are just people after all, they also have baggage and can have messed up heads too.
You can get past this. Just be who you want to be and don't let yourself down. /bear hugs for hangin in there and I think you did the right thing.

i agree with grammy, basicly keep your mom at arms length but dont shut her out completely,we all have our flaws, some have them greater than others

Oh dixie hun, you were right to tell your mum, but she was wrong not to believe you. I know you've suffered a terrible thing, and no-one should have to suffer through this. I think that Grammys advice is pretty acurate in this case. I'm so sorry that this happened to you and I wish I could make your pain go away, but know that we are all here to help you through this. We love you Dixie.

i agree with grammy too, and i think it IS a good idea to keep her at arms length, you can trust her now, but you never know the things that can happen in the future sweety. hang in there.
