I guess there is no tried and tested thing to get over a broken heart, but you should give urself a lot of time, and allow urself to grieve for what u have lost, mourn it and appreciate what it was, cos until u do, it will be hard to move on. Life is precious, its an amazing gift we have been given and i hope u are able to mend ur heart and carry on living the amazing life we all have

Best thing in my opinion is to try your very best not to dwell on "what might have been"s because they serve no purpose save to keep you depressed and feeling hopeless. It can be like a poison.
Try to accept that whatever didn't work/went wrong/ended, etc could have been fate/kharma letting you know you were done. You've lived through and learned from it. Forgive yourself and them for whatever bad there was and remember the good times. It's just possible you've gained all you could from that relationship so now it's time to move down a different path. Try distracting yourself doing things that occupy your mind. Reading, crosswords, whatever you've enjoyed in the past. Visit with friends and family or make some new friends, but remember to talk about whatever you can have a sense of humor about. Life is what you're living daily so may as well not waste it with any painful past if you can avoid it. Even if you don't exactly feel like seeking joy at the moment, you could accidentally trip over some distracting yourself from pain. Good luck, I hope you heal quickly, and remember hope is there even if you've misplaced it. Bear Hugs

u slowly sew it back together.................
unfortunately, when them scars heal, the time in between soothes the pain. When the scars totally heal, then pain is less severe....KANE

i have loved many people who have not returned that love ........but someone up high returns it you should find comfort and solace from him he is the healer of all hearts and with time yours will heal but life wouldnt be the same if we didnt love even if they dont love us back at least you gave your all and thats all you can do .so have faith and joy that you were able to love someone regardless if they loved you back thats are job here after all is to grow and learn and to love and give love without question or expectations that it will come back to you ........thats my thought anyway and it has gotten me thru so many broken hearts...and i have never stopped loving i will continue to give my love no matter how many people break it cause its all i have is my love............keep loving and you will always be loved in return by the only heart that truly matters your own......and you are a piece of god good luck and god bless you and everyone else

It's hard to forget, one that you love, i know!! If u believe in god, and yourself, it makes it a little easier! If you are lucky enough to find another, then it will help heal your heart also! God bless you hun, and take care!
