I would not advise this program, personally.
Ad-Aware is much better, with a far more advanced definition base. Just today, I was fixing a computer that had a worm on it. After locating and deleting the worm, I scanned the users PC with Microsoft AntiSpyware. A few tracking cookies came up, and that was it. <<>> I then scan the same PC with Ad-Aware and 100 critical objects are found, ten of which had installed themselves in the registry, too. That is just my experience with the program so far. Of course, try the program out for yourself and make your own opinions. - Steven. |

McAfee is a good antivirus. But because that is a personal desition you should get what work best for you. |

To add to the confusion, or maybe to give another tool to use.
ZoneAlarm, has added to their Pro version the anti spyware section. As I do not run the free version anymore, I am not sure if it is included there or not. It seems to pick up some that the other may have passed over. You decide what you want to run, or download from http://www.zonealarm.com/
