Clinging to every memory that is of you, Hoping that one I will find my place in your heart. Knowing that you are all I want and all I need, Hear my words repeat inside your mind. Changing times threaten to tear us apart, Desperately trying to keep you near to me. When everyone is doing their all to rip us from each other, How much longer can we stand this persecution? Will you still love me when this is all over, Is there a place inside your heart where I can dwell? Please don’t go away, you’re all I have in this world, If you go I’m afraid of what will happen to your happiness. Question after question do I ask you, but I must ask you just one more, Take some time to answer if you must, it won’t be so easy to reply. This question must be asked, also it must be answered, Will you stay with me, never leave and take your love away? Happiness is ours for the taking please don’t jeopardize our chances, You above myself deserve a chance at true happiness. When I’m with you, in your presence, I’m truly alive, Now I will await your answer until the day you’re ready to give it. |
