Looking out
Over my edge
Seeing a void
Of unending night
And hearing your voice
Coercing me to jump
Grabbing at my breath
Your spirit rising from the mist

To Jump

Id fall endlessly forever
My screams silenced by your cruel hand
Saying you'll hold me
but letting me go
Laughing as you uncover your wings
Rising above my mountain
Watching as I fall
Mawking me as I reach out in vain

But

To stay here
Tip-toeing my edge
I tease you
Making you believe that falling is my destiny
From here my screams are never silenced
And I will never reach in vain

So

Keep hovering there
Watch me as I conquer
Hold your breath as I become
The one thing you said I'd never be.
