The Pity Hole
You've dug a hole for yourself in life. Nothing but pain and sorrow within blanketed with heartache smothered in frustration your pillow is regret your bed is made of complaints. This is what you've selected as your resting place. Its where you choose to live. I've known so many who were there. Been there myself in the past. I'm amazed at how simple a solution was. It didn't take much to glance up to see hands reaching down We had the choice to grab those hands to try our best to pull them down into this hole to share our misery and blame to allow them to feel the pain and hopelessness to block out the sun for us all. But we chose instead to reach out and allow them to pull us into the sunlight. To see over the edge of that emptiness and realize there was hope and happiness, joy and love. Yes, someone always has it better, but someone always has it worse too. Know that I care and reach out my hand to help you up but know also, if your choice is to stay in your self made hell hole I will not allow you to drag me down and I pity anyone else you pull into your trap. I cherish this life you ignore and toss aside. I see the blessings. I feel the love. No life isn't fair, but until my dieing breath I will try my best to help others out and keep myself out of that pity hole. Here, take my hand...

WOW! What a powerful message Grammy! I love it! I think we have all been in that hole at some time in the past. I thank God that I chose to be pulled up and out into the light!

Very well done Grammy! We've all been there and the most have chosen to let others help them out and enjoy happiness, as it should be no matter what!
