he lays so still with tubes and wires everywhere.
i cant help but smile.
while i think of what a handful he'll be.
he starts to wake.
he hears my voice and opens his eyes.
despite the medicine, he fights to stay with me.
my heart breaks seeing him this way.
so small, yet he's been through so much.
in a flash i know he'll be just fine.
all because in that moment.
my little man smiled.




P.S. He's doing great guys.

awww blue my prayers are with you and your son and I hope all goes well with for you both. i know its hard to see your son laying there with tubes and monitors connected but things will be ok. all the best wishes for you both.. nice poem by the way
