I thought we were just friends I thought I knew how you felt about me But I was wrong Because at first we were hardly friends Never more than just friends When I found out the truth about how you felt I couldn't believe it At the time I had no idea what I was about to get myself in to I thought about you non-stop for the next week I realized I liked you too I had no idea how to tell you So at first I didn't tell anyone There were times after that when I acted like I wanted nothing to do with you But that was never true I just hope Im not too late Because now Im starting to realize how lucky I am I'm this to tell you I love you Not as a friend Not as family I think you're what I was searching for Because I know if I lose you now I might be missing a great life I love you with all my heart I just hope you can see that Teenage love may not last But memories are never just in the past Love with all your heart And dont be afraid to show it Because if when you do you wont regret it And if you dont, what have you missed
