Why must my heart ache,
at the hands of you?
I only gave you,
my heart to cherish.
I never intended for it,
to be broken.

You had me at Hello,
you never understood.
You confused me,
you made me love you.
You broke my heart.

I crossed my heart,
praying that it would never happen.
Now,
my heart aches and I cried.
A many times,
I asked myself why did this happen.
But still,
this isn't me.

I'm not happy,
with you or myself.
But as if nothing has,
happened, I wear a smile.
But inside I'm dying,
the hurt won't go away.

So all I have found in you,
was heartache and pain.
You never understood my feelings,
that were so obvious.
A blind man could tell.

Now it's over,
and there's nothing more to say.
