All this time I’ve wasted wondering, That if I apologized to you would you forgive me? If I told you I’d be there when you needed me to be, Would you believe what I’ve told you? I can’t take back all the wrong things that I’ve done, The only thing I have to offer is my apology. So much pain I have caused to you, Can you find a place deep inside to forgive me. Even though time has passed since I’ve last seen you, I don’t know if we’re still where we were when I left. With this time on my hands that I’ve got, I have done nothing but think of the things that went wrong. All this time I’ve wasted wondering, That if I apologized to you would you forgive me? If I told you I’d be there when you needed me to be, Would you believe what I’ve told you? After all that we’ve been through, I still feel that I don’t deserve your forgiveness. But still that is what I ask from you, Filled with regrets for everything and knowing I still care for you. How can someone like me ever change, I tell you it is the people we choose to surround ourselves with. I’m letting you know that you are who I choose to be around, You are the people who have seen me through my darkest hours.
