Anchors
Anchors
Do any of you know what an anchor is?
Its one of those things that holds a boat in place in the water.
But the meaning can be many different things.
This is the meaning for me:
True friendship is an anchor
it holds you true and fast
Greeting you with warm wishes
it's a true frienship that will always last.
Knowing who to trust with your heart and soul
is never easy, but when you do its true.
You want to hold them in your heart
always keep that in view.
Knowing everything about each other
and loving you for all your faults
Even when other people hurt you
and seeing through all their assaults.
Standing by you day and night
helping guide you along the way
Your friend will be there to hold your hand
when you sometimes start to stray.
Your friend is here to share
lifes dailys ups and downs.
To help make you feel more better
and to take away your frowns.
They are forever here for you
never to judge or hurt
Be there for them always
they are always on alert.
Give your friend a hug and kiss daily
to let you know you cherish them
Show them love and wishes
and they never will condemn.
For this I will hold my anchor
inside my heart and soul.
I will be here for you always
and you know I will help you reach your goal.
So this is to you my friend
you know forever who you are
My one anchor that constanly saves me
you will always be my shining star.
So know this always my true friend
you will forever hold my heart.
All the things you tell me
you know that I have done from the start.

Wow....I'm lost for words!!!....Who ever that friend is they are lucky they have a ship like yours too sail with.....great poem KK
