Let me see if I can clarify what she means. In many programs, especially those supported by linux, there is a spell check and autocorrect feature. It diagnoses everything you type while correcting it for you without taking your attention away from whats going on. I believe this is what she meant, and if, it might actually be a blessing as opposed to a curse. However, to do this would require dedication from someone, as it would have to be configured not only for language but dialect. As we all know, english has several known dialects spoken based on the location of the person speaking it. So this idea is a double edged sword, it would be great to not concern yourself with spelling error, however, you would need someone dedicated enough to add all the slang words we use.
