Hey Guys/Gals,

Just to let everyone know, I upgraded my computer to SP3 and it went very smooth. Here are the details of what I did.

1) Saved the file to my desktop.
2) Closed out ALL of my open applications (including the ones in the task bar next to the clock)
3) Ran the install file
4) At the end of the install file, it will ask you to reboot. On the bootup process, you will see a few "windows screens" as it completes its install process.
5) Windows Live Messenger on bootup, did reinstall itself. So you might also run into this.

The download took about 30 minutes and the install took less than 20. I'm running on a P4 3.2 with 4GBs of RAM - so the install time may very.

i got a new comp today complete with vista premium,if its as bad as some people say it is i may just have to see about going back to xp

i have a laptop,it came with vista but it was so annoying and i just downgraded.b the way im not downloading it till its final lol.ive had bad experiences with beta software..

Its just the beta version thats out at the moment. When the finished version is released I think it downloads it auto.
