That didnt work Jon I had so many other suggestions but nothing worked was getting so frustrated
I put the question to a site that helps with PC problems and this is what they came up with

1.Right-click on the zip file.

2.Select Properties

3.At the bottom of General tab, click Unblock.

4.Click Apply or OK.

Now try unzipping the files.

It worked so simple why didnt I think of that I now just have to remember to do it on each zip file

So if any of you have Vista and have same problem do above

If you have downloaded the ZIP files using Internet Explorer, chance are the downloaded zip files are blocked to help protected the computer as part of the new security feature in Vista.

I suggest that next time you start with "Have Vista home" ... Is there something that does work with Vista?
for all Vista users

The funny thing is Kay, I haven't had an issue with programs not working on my dell Vista Home Premium laptop. It runs 10x more smoothly than XP did for me.

However, it is my understanding that dell does some type of pre-configuration with vista to make it a more enjoyable experience. I haven't looked into what they actually did.
