Msn Hotmail issues
Well there has been many Issues about this since day one, recently a friend of mine lost his account password to someone who pretended to be his friend, turns out it was some guy who stole that account and was now triying to steal his. Now the only way to get their password was if they gave it to him for some reason, or by those many xploits out there, mails that go to your account offering many things like increasing the size of ur mail storage etc, they aske you to log in from that mail, this is ridiculous as Hotmail or MSN will never ask u for ur password inside a mail, they dont need to. Anyways, unfurtunately my friend (such an airhead) gave this guy his pass, Now this guy changed the password, the secret question etc. Now what good could it bring to stole someone´s msn account besides messing things around? not much as he has no credit card numbers or anything like that in there, just personal stuff. I am triying to help him recover his account by contacting MSN support, telling them what is the matter , hopefully they will reset the password and send me a provisional one, but this guy who stole the account seems to be online all the time chating with his friends, I hope thats not a problem while triying to fix this, anyways, Never give you password to anyone, not even if you think you know the person you are talking to. Many crazy people out there, better be cautious and change ur passwords often.

It is doubtful, you will get any help from MSN on that deal, as long as the account is active and in use. If you request the PW so you can change it, they will send to the email account of the thief, and your no better off.
I would report the problem, to MSN, but, the most effective answer is to start a new account, new PW, and learn not to allow others to know your PW, or even your account name. Just my thoughts on the subject.

Like I said before!! They might be able to help, but from past experience, almost 10 years with MSN and HOtmail accounts, if they changed the PW and question, the account now belongs to them, and I doubt if MS will do anything. But Good luck to the individual trying, because they gave up the information that caused the problem.

Well guys it did worked, I send them a mail regarding the situation, and they send some questions to verify the ownership of the account, after we filled them out and send it, they provided a link to change the password, secret question, alternative email etc, So problem solved, Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, so they are being very nice!! I am so glad to hear that.
I really am so glad it worked out for the person, who lost the information, and I hope a very severe lesson was learned. You give out NOTHING, especially if you do not know the person, even if they are 3 feet from you and you can strangle them if they mess with your accounts.
