in the u.k prior to 1965 any person convicted of any serious offence such as murder would be sentenced to death by means of hanging by the neck. should the u.k re-introduce the death penalty for vile and vicious individuals such as pedophiles and murderers.



i believe the death penalty should be imposed upon these individuals as it would save the tax payers the expense from keeping them in detention and would also act as a deterent to other would be criminals

im against it,look at how many miscarriages of justice there have been,before and after capital punishment was stopped

I am completely against it! Why let them off so quickly?

I think they should be put to work for the good of the country... manual labour or whatever tasks they are best at to pay for their time in prison. So they work for 8 or so hours a day like the majority of the rest of the population!

But obviously put them in special work schemes depending on their crime, so murderers, paedophiles and rapists etc.. should not be allowed to leave their prison so have to do work there...
