Hey all i need ur help. I want to get my first tattoo in the next few months but have no idea what to get. I either want to get one on the top of my foot or on my right shoulder blade. If you have any ideas of what would be a first good tattoo and where it would be good to have please write it in this thread

I'd just look at pictures till one caught my fancy if I were you. So many to choose from: many animals, many flowers, many symbols. Something you'll still like when you're 60 lol.
I don't have any but have oodles of friends who do so it seems its a personal choice of what, where and how big. Let us know what you choose please mam.

Always remember Tattoos are fairly permanant. Make sure it is something you will want to still see when you are old. Also something you would not be embarrassed to show off. Placement: some areas of the body are more sensitive and could cause alot of pain to get. So you might want to ask the person doing your Tat where is the best placement. I have a Palm Tree on my left ankle (kind of a sensitive area). I was born in California and everytime I think of California I think of Palm Trees. The design is something I had drawn myself for about 5 years before I put it to ink. I still love my Tat, 17 years later, and would do it again if given the chance. My kids, when they were younger, used to ask me why I could color on my body but I woundn't allow them too. LOL!!

Make sure it is something that means something to you. Dont get a yinyang just because it "looks cool". Trust me when you are 60 years old and your yin just dont yang, you will regret it...but if it is something that has significant meaning to you....then you should be happy with it forever.
