A day in the life of ...
Hi everyone! Since I am new here I figured I'd introduce myself in a creative way. To this end, I will go first at describing what makes a typical in my life. I hope you will tell me a little something about you by describing your typical day!
OK, here we go. A day in the life of me... I wake up around 10 in the morning. Not to the sound of an alarm clock, as I haven't set it. I don't need to, since I don't need to go anywhere. There's no job or class I have to attend to. (That's one of the benefits of the correspondence course I take.) I spend a considerable amount of time running cold water over my face to get to terms with whatever awaits me today. I then have some water as breakfast and put in an hour or two at school work. I get hungry around 12 or 1 pm, which is when I make myself a couple of sandwiches. The afternoon usually holds another strech of homework, reading books and/or writing reports before I sit down for dinner. Luckily I have the evening all to myself. I like reading for fun or just doing something on my computer. I will listen to music or update my (small) website. Also, for laughs, I'll watch TV. Currently, here in Holland, 'That 70s show is on' and/or 'Malcolm in the Middle' and these are just two of my favourite shows. I don't turn in until 1 am as I have trouble falling asleep when there's still too much activity around me, such as other people that are still up, or the traffic outside. OK - that was it! I must admit that while typing I got the feeling that my life is small and insignificant. I wonder what your feelings are when you share what makes your typical day! |
