Duck shooting season is here
Well I had a great morning up before dark to get to the maimai and put the decoys out before all the ducks are awake
Can I tell you my friends maimai was very well equiped with all the mod cons you would need
So we settled down with the customary hot tottie and waited and waited for the dawn to come thinking I could have actually had another couple of hours sleep
Suddenly my friend without my noticing he was about to do it blew on his duck caller and scared the life out of me thought we had a live one sharing out maimai
But cutting a long story we bagged 5 ducks each and mine are now hanging in the garage for today to let the fat all congeal and will be plucking them tomorrow for duck ala orange
mouth is watering just thinking about it
