Bubbles, bikes, and wet kitty paws
This has been an interesting morning. I started by getting ready for my morning shower. When I turn the water in the tub on Oliver (my kitten for those who don't know) jumps into the back end of the tub and watches the water. Usually right before it gets to where he is he jumps out. Today he turned the wrong way and the water got to his paws. He finally jumped out, but not before getting his paws soaked. I stood and watched him as he tried to jump back on the edge of the tub. Because it was already wet from his previous jump he slid right off into the tub. Now his legs are soaked. He gets out of the tub and starts crying as he tried to shake his little paws dry. Then he decides the sink is a safer place to be. Well he must have figured that cause he over shot his last jump which put him in the tub, he took something off this last jump and hit the edge of the sink. Once he had scurried up on the sink he just sat there looking dazed and confused, still crying. I have spent the last hour or two sitting out on the patio listening to music and watching the neighborhood kids play. They have their bikes out, racing around. Playing cops and robbers with their toy guns. Then one of the Moms got out the bubbles and bubbles wands. there must be about 8 of them ranging in age from 2.5 to 10 making bubbles and trying to catch them. I even got to talk to my youngest Daughter on the phone!
What a good day, and it isn't even half over!

But what happened to the cat? Poor cat, traumatized for the rest of its life
Isn't life beautiful when everybody can get outside again after this long winter? I hope the other half of your day was at least as good. |
