It was compulsary at my school to learn keyboard and then my mum bought a piano. I wanted to learn lead or rythym guitar but my teacher insisted I learnt bass as there weren't enough players in the school. We all use an instrument we were born with, it just depends on whether we can play it well. (that was in no way meant to be naughty...)
