Ask her straight out with a smile, "if we didn't work together, would you date me?" If she says no, drop it. Just smile, never hurts to ask.
If she says yes, you can always ask, "k would you consider dating me secretly as far as the job is concerned?" This answer will tell you where you can head from here lol.
At any rate you can remain friends and coworkers, right?
