i believe there are. ive personally felt them around me, most especially my grandmother. i was very close to her and had a hard time with her passing. shes around me when i am having really hard days and such.
another experience is when i worked at payless shoe source in ogden ut (when i lived up there the end of 07). we had a spirit who would go and mess up the shoes after i fixed them, and i heard him laugh when i was counting the till one night.
i dont ever doubt that there are spirits among us... actually, i get a kick out of it when i do have experiences with them
