here in the uk you can have your loved ones sectioned when they are in that kind of state(placed under the care of the local mental health facility),its a hard thing to do,but it does help,i know cos i speak from experience,6 months after i and my wife parted company she went through what your brother is going through now and i was the one who had to have her sectioned because in the eyes of the law we were still married and i was responsible for her,its now 8 years later and shes getting on with her life,she still has problems but not as bad as the ones she had when she had to be sectioned,so if your willing hun,consider getting him the help of the local mental health care facility,like i said its hard but 9 out of 10 times it works
