ive heard that nintendo are going to or are using a program that detects your mod chip when you go online with your console(microsoft/sony use the same thing apparently),some have claimed your system can be shut down as a result of the chip being detected,some claim that if you use a pirated game while online your ISP is put on record for later investigation,these may just be scare stories but do you really want to run the risk of possibly damaging your console?and do you really want to risk breaking copyright law?,ultimately its your choice in the end on wheather to get the chip or not
